2026 Spring Semester

January 5 – May 22

Lesson Calendar Key

• Green: Regular lessons

• Red: No lessons

• Yellow: Recital Week (no regular lessons)

• Purple: Free bonus week & makeup lessons

• Pink: Prorated (optional) summer lessons & Musical Theater Summer Camp

🎤 Vocalists: To perform at the Cherry Festival, all vocal students must attend one prorated summer lesson.

Recitals (All Students)

• February 21: Vintage Valentine’s Day or Princess & Pirates Tea Party Recital

• May Recital: TBA (likely May 1, 2, or 9)

Performances (Vocal Students Only)

🍒 Emmett Cherry Festival – June 20
This is the BIG one—you don’t want to miss it! Please don’t schedule camps or travel this week. Trust me.

🆕 Summer Soirée at the Zoo: TBA

Tuition & Payment Policies

Total Tuition: $800

• $650 semester tuition

• $150 studio fee (per family, per semester)

Payment Reminders

• Cash only, please

• Full semester tuition is due by the first week of February

• Paying in full saves lesson time and simplifies bookkeeping (there’s a reason I don’t teach math 😉)

💵 Please bring paper cash in an envelope labeled with:

• Student’s first and last name

• Total amount enclosed

🧾 If you need a receipt, feel free to prepare one for me to sign.

Attendance & Communication

• If you cannot attend a lesson, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance:

With 48 hours’ notice, I’m happy to schedule a makeup lesson.
Same-day or last-minute cancellations cannot be made up.

If you choose to discontinue lessons, please provide one month’s notice.

Studio Etiquette

• Please arrive on time (early is great!)

• Let yourself in quietly

• Remove shoes

• Sit at the dining table until it’s your turn (no need to knock)

Come prepared with all piano books, including scales—and don’t forget to PRACTICE!
